Komasan observes that Komajiro is adjusting to urban living more quickly than expected, even adopting local slang. Meanwhile, Nate experiences a series of misfortunes before realizing he is possessed by the Yo-kai Buhu. She requires his assistance to regain her independence. Later, after Nate has gathered numerous Yo-kai Medals, the Yo-kai Medallium activates to summon the legendary samurai Yo-kai Shogunyan. This sequence of events highlights the growing bond between the humans and their Yo-kai companions as new challenges and powerful allies emerge in their daily lives.
