Sohoku students return from training camp to attend makeup lessons on a Saturday. Onoda reflects on a disrupted conversation with the captain regarding the Inter-High, initially losing hope. During the final class with Mr. Pierre, Onoda finally receives the captain's complete message. He is awarded his team jersey and designated as the sixth member for the upcoming Inter-High tournament. The team then undergoes special training led by the captain to test their abilities. Onoda fears he will hinder his teammates and begins to withdraw. With guidance from the captain, Onoda understands the true meaning of teamwork and achieves success beyond his expectations.
