Yuugo discovers that Rin is being held captive on one of Duel Academy's towers and immediately heads toward the location. Upon arrival, he encounters Apollo, who is identified as the Keeper of the Eastern Tower. Simultaneously, Kaito attempts to save Ruri but is confronted by Diana, the Keeper of the Western Tower. These two separate encounters occur as the characters strive to reach their respective friends within the academy's structures. The narrative focuses on these immediate confrontations with the tower guardians while the protagonists pursue their rescue missions.
