The Kurosaki siblings finally reunite after a long separation. However, the peaceful gathering is interrupted when Ruri suddenly issues a duel challenge to Shun. Shun quickly realizes that Ruri is being manipulated and controlled by an unseen force. Determined to rescue his sister, he decides to rely solely on his own strength rather than seeking outside help. He engages in a solitary battle to break the control over Ruri and protect her from the darkness influencing her actions.
