Yami Marik utilizes Joyful Death Agony to reduce Ra's attack points to zero. After destroying the beast, he revives it and employs Ra's previously unknown abilities to defeat Bakura and Marik. Yami Bakura is transported into the Pharaoh's mind maze, intending to unlock a secret. Upon discovering that the innocent Bakura has also been sent to the Shadow Realm, an enraged Yami Yuugi confronts Yami Marik and vows to defeat him. Meanwhile, Marik temporarily possesses Anzu's body to warn Ishizu about his evil half's plans.
