Jesse joins the duel and summons Rainbow Dragon to assist Jaden in confronting the Sacred Beasts. Jaden discovers that Marcel was merely a puppet controlled by Yubel, a monster spirit from his past. Although Jaden shares minimal details about Yubel with Jesse, Yubel subsequently reveals her ultimate monster. Jesse remains behind to sustain the energy required for the school to return to their world. However, the collapsing stadium forces Axel, Blair, Marcel, and Jaden to flee. Jaden and Marcel become unconscious during the escape. Finally, Yubel and Jesse disappear from the scene.
