A French circus arrives near Andou’s home, prompting Ichita to attend the performance with Ichigo and the group. Ichita notices a blonde performer named Ameli, and later, he and Ichigo become separated from the others to meet her. Ameli invites them to her mobile home, where her mother serves curry and spinach salad. Both Ichita and Ameli dislike specific ingredients in the meal, leading Ichigo to create a dessert combining spinach and carrots that they both reject. Back at the academy, Ichigo struggles to perfect a spinach and carrot cake without Andou’s assistance. Once Ichita approves the final version, they hurry to deliver it to Ameli as she prepares to depart with the circus.
