Berry and Hack manage to escape the Hyperverse created by Phantom Zero. Hack is soon detained by the customer center while they investigate the Zero Phenomenon. The following day, Berry wakes up on her apartment veranda. When she attempts to recount the events, her friends dismiss her story, noting there is no evidence of the Zero Phenomenon or the child she met. Refusing to accept this lack of proof, Berry resolves to uncover concrete evidence to validate her experience and the existence of the phenomenon.
