Ep. 46: Kuro Momotaro shifts forms while Hiei and Kurama face unique combat challenges

Kuro Momotaro adopts birdlike and wolfish traits, rendering Hiei's initial assaults useless. To defeat him, Hiei channels the darkness flame dragon through his sword. Meanwhile, Kurama battles Ura Urashima in a contest between a rose whip and a fishing pole whip. A telepathic exchange allows Kurama to deceive his opponent. During the fight, Kurama encounters the Idunn Box, which causes him to revert to his demon form, Yoko Kurama, as the ring becomes obscured by fog.
