Hiei utilizes the dragon of the darkness flame to counter Bui's heightened abilities. When Bui reflects the attacks back, Hiei absorbs the flames, which drastically increases his physical capabilities. This absorption allows Hiei to defeat Bui. Following the battle, Hiei enters hibernation because he has drained all his spirit energy.
