Ep. 69: Kurama Challenges Kaito to a Soul-Bidding Game of Taboo to Free Captured Allies

Kuwabara and Botan are petrified after uttering a forbidden word. Kurama secretly retrieves a key from Yanagisawa and initiates a high-stakes game of taboo with Kaito, wagering their souls. As the game progresses, letters of the alphabet are eliminated one by one. Kurama utilizes manifested plants for cover while Kaito briefly leaves for the restroom. When only two letters remain, Kurama attempts to startle his opponent but fails. Kaito maintains his composure until Kurama makes ridiculous facial expressions that provoke laughter. This reaction breaks the taboo, causing Kaito to lose his soul and consequently freeing the petrified individuals.
