Ep. 98: Kazuma Kuwabara learns of the trio's journey while Yusuke confronts Raizen
Aired on September 17, 1994
Kazuma Kuwabara receives news that Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei are traveling to the Demon World. The three men escort Yusuke into Raizen's fortress. Yusuke, angered by Raizen's interference in his battle with Shinobu "Black Angel" Sensui, attacks him but is easily defeated. Following this encounter, Raizen begins training Yusuke as his successor.
