Hiei endures Mukuro's severe training, which pushes him to his physical limits. He recalls his birth and subsequent exile from his village as a fire demon considered a curse. Mukuro then introduces Shigure, the surgeon who implanted the Jagan eye, to fight Hiei. This confrontation serves as a challenge for Hiei, with the reward being the opportunity to see Mukuro unmasked.
