Ep. 1: Isami Pilots the Giant Robot Bravern During Alien Invasion

While participating in a joint American-Japanese military exercise, Isami Ao encounters Lewis Smith. The training is abruptly interrupted when alien robots launch an attack on Earth. Amidst the ensuing battle, a massive talking robot descends from the sky and requests that Isami take control of its cockpit. Accepting this role, Isami becomes the pilot for the mech, which identifies itself as Bravern. Together, they engage the hostile forces to defend the planet from the extraterrestrial invaders threatening their world.
