Ep. 2: Bravern insists Isami must pilot him despite torture and a Superbia attack

Joint military leaders are informed by Bravern regarding the threat posed by the Deathdrives. During this briefing, Isami undergoes interrogation and torture. Simultaneously, a giant robot named Superbia launches an attack. Lewis volunteers to pilot Bravern in place of Isami, but the mecha refuses, stating that only Isami is capable of operating it. Isami and Bravern manage to defeat Superbia together. However, the ordeal leaves Isami physically and mentally exhausted, causing him to curl into a fetal position within the cockpit.
