Ep. 1: White Mage Lloyd Expelled From Hero's Party After Years of Support

Lloyd, a White Mage, is abruptly dismissed from the Hero's adventuring party. Previously, his master Merlin recognized his potential as a Chosen One after he touched a grimoire. She secretly cast a spell to prevent overconfidence and taught him White Magic to help others, discouraging Ancient Magic. Since White Magic is unsuitable for combat, Lloyd strengthened his body and avoided monsters to survive. Years later, he joined the Hero Allen’s party, a move orchestrated by one of Merlin’s former members to avoid past mistakes. Lloyd’s support enabled Allen’s victories, but Allen’s arrogance led to Lloyd’s expulsion. Bound by the confidence spell, Lloyd accepts this and leaves. Subsequently, a young adventurer hires him as her party urgently requires a White Mage.
