Ep. 3: Lloyd’s Party Faces Basilisks and Spiders While Traveling Near the Demon Border
Lloyd’s companions question his classification of Merlin as a Combat mage rather than a White mage. Daggas reveals their mission to stop monsters destroying farms, though Lloyd suspects foul play due to the mixed species. He assists by using dimensional storage for heavy gear. As they approach the Magocracy border, Yui and Silica are attacked by a basilisk while bathing. Lloyd casts enhancement magic to help them defeat it. He attempts to teach dimensional storage to the group, blaming his own teaching skills for their slow progress. Yui apologizes for forcing him to join, citing her village’s destruction by monsters. The group later defeats spider monsters, with Lloyd feeling shame for giving orders despite Yui’s leadership. He is surprised by their praise and wonders about the spiders’ destination.
