Junichirou faces Natsumura to protect Evangeline as the army succumbs to the Iron Sickness. Samon verifies Yoshino’s theory that Hakaze can be rescued if her remaining body leaves the island and fuses with the skeleton they possess. Hakaze searches for a ritual offering while Samon learns the Kusaribe Clan has not killed anyone recently, clearing their suspicion in Aika’s murder. Consequently, Hakaze deduces that her death was caused by a magician using power from the Tree of Exodus rather than the Tree of Genesis.
