Zetsuen no Tempest

A princess of a sorcerer family is betrayed and exiled in a barrel to a remote island. Samon Kusaribe, a family member, is responsible for her banishment, driven by his goal to revive a destructive tree that opposes the family’s protective Tree of Origins. While isolated, the princess sends a message that reaches Mahiro Fuwa, a boy determined to find the killer of his sister, Aika. He agrees to assist her in exchange for help locating the murderer. During their efforts, Yoshino Takigawa, Mahiro’s friend and Aika’s boyfriend, is rescued and becomes involved in their quest. The story follows their journey through a world of magic and vengeance, where emotions and beliefs clash in a tale of tragedy and conflict.
