Ep. 16: Megumu demonstrates powers publicly while Hakaze investigates a spy at the Kusaribe Clan village.

Acting on Samon and Takumi's plan, Megumu performs a public demonstration of his powers, destroying a large branch of the Tree of Genesis before a massive crowd. Simultaneously, Hakaze learns of a spy at the Kusaribe Clan's village and travels there with Yoshino to investigate. While anxious about her feelings, Hakaze faces a crisis when a village child is held hostage, likely to force the clan to reveal their magic. Although Yoshino risks his life to save the child, Evangeline, Natsumura, and Tetsuma observe from a distance. They remain suspicious that Yoshino might be connected to the Tree of Exodus, choosing not to intervene despite the danger.
