Ep. 58: Hiltz destroys a town with the Death Stinger while Van and Thomas prepare for space combat

After failing to stop Hiltz, he launches the Death Stinger into orbit aboard the Hammer Kaizer. Fiona and Moonbay monitor the vessel from their Pteras units. Hiltz broadcasts to the Republic, demanding the name of the town below. Major Herman refuses to comply, prompting Hiltz to obliterate the settlement using the Charged Particle Gun. Herman subsequently travels to the Capital to request the Madam President authorize two Storm Sworders for space travel, specifically nominating Van Flyheight and Thomas Schubaltz as pilots. At the ground battlefield, Van, Thomas, and Irvine face attacks from Heldigunners. Van instructs Irvine to assume control of the Storm Sworder so they can depart. Meanwhile, the heavily damaged Geno Breaker remains stranded among cliffs with Shadow trapped in its left claw.
