Thirteen years after this event, known as "Red Day," civilization has collapsed, and the remaining humans live outside major cities, hoping to reclaim them. A new generation, unfamiliar with life before the outbreak, is growing up in this changed world. Aki, along with her friends Haru and Natsuki, sets out on a journey to locate Aki's missing father.
