In the present day, scientific advancement is at an all-time high, yet hidden from most are supernatural beings known as "Strangenesses." A select few, including shrine maidens and monks, are tasked with hunting these entities. Among them is Minato Kujou, a young man who lacks any spiritual powers and is mocked as the "Zero Ability Individual." Despite his cynicism and inability to perform spiritual feats, he is nonetheless achieving success in eliminating Strangenesses, much to the disbelief and frustration of his peers.
