Absolute Duo

A student seeks to avenge his sister's death by enrolling in a school that trains individuals to use personalized weapons called Blaze, which reflect their inner selves. His weapon manifests as a shield, making him an anomaly among students who typically receive offensive weapons. To adapt, he joins a program that pairs students as partners for combat training, living and studying together. His partner is a girl from Scandinavia with an unprecedented ability and a shared desire for vengeance.
