Aisuru Tsumori nazo Naindeshou kara

Diana, the second daughter of a frontier earl, leads a carefree life with her physically strong but dim-witted brothers in a remote area. She is abruptly ordered to marry by a royal decree. Her husband is Lacilus, the intelligent and handsome son of a duke. The marriage was arranged to prevent conflict after Lacilus's intended bride, a princess, was forced to wed another to secure peace with a neighboring nation. Diana assumes Lacilus resents her for replacing the princess, interpreting his statement "I have no intention of loving you" as proof. The story follows the misunderstandings between Diana, who has abandoned all expectations, and Lacilus, whose image as a charming young man is about to be revealed as false.
