AMAKUSA 1637

A group of friends time-travel to 1636 during a school cruise, just before the historical Shimabara Revolt of 1637. The uprising, led by a charismatic young figure named Amakusa Shirou, was a Christian-led rebellion that ended in failure and heavy casualties. One of the travelers, Hayumi Natsuki, is wrongly identified as Amakusa Shirou by locals, despite the real Shirou being male and having died the previous year without achieving leadership status. She quickly gains fame as a divine savior, with people referring to her as "Shirou" and believing her to be the prophesied figure foretold 25 years earlier.
