Baccano!

In 1711, a group of alchemists aboard the Advenna Avis summon a demon seeking eternal life. They are given an elixir that grants immortality and a method to end their existence by consuming one another. One begins devouring the others, prompting them to separate and travel the world. In the 1930s, a federal investigator in America works to suppress organized crime during Prohibition, while also pursuing a terrorist and a thief duo. At the same time, a transcontinental train called the Flying Pussyfoot leaves a trail of violence. In 2002, some of the original alchemists search for their surviving counterparts. They encounter someone they did not anticipate. Events spanning centuries and locations, from 1700s Italy to a modern cruise ship, are revealed to be interconnected.
