Basashi ga Tabetai

A high school student named Kaede wins first place in an art contest with a painting of her favorite food, basashi. The artwork is displayed at her school, drawing attention and making her a local topic of conversation. A boy named Satomi, who has a secret he cannot share with others, also takes notice of her painting. There may be a connection between Kaede and Satomi through their shared interest in basashi.
