Bena

A circus sideshow worker in the Edo period is assigned to care for a terrifying, monstrous creature captured for the act. Initially resentful, the worker gradually notices signs of something human in the beast’s behavior and names it Bena. Bena’s innocent nature evokes memories of the worker’s late brother, prompting him to try helping the creature escape. However, Bena is not human but a child of demons.
