A high school student named Futsu Jintarou has his confession rejected by his crush and then suffers a sudden transformation into a beautiful silver-haired girl due to a gender-change disease. To cope, he immerses himself in the VRMMO game Clan/Clan, where his in-game character, Taro, also appears as a girl and uses the Alchemy skill, often considered weak by other players. Within the game, Jintarou meets various adventurers who help him grow stronger, while keeping his real-life transformation a secret from his in-game friends. As summer vacation ends, he must return to school and face his new reality. The story follows his journey in the game, where he becomes a top-tier adventurer, achieving great feats without direct combat.
