Boku no Orion

On a rainy day, Samon takes shelter in a flower shop, where he meets Koito, a girl who works there and is a year younger at school. Later, as he becomes entangled in his classmates' romantic situations and feels isolated, he directs his frustration toward Koito, asking why she always smiles, and begins to despise himself. This causes him anxiety, and on graduation day, Koito gives him a diary. In it, she expresses admiration for him, writing that middle school was enjoyable because he was there. Despite his self-loathing, Samon is drawn to what is written about him. After some time, when they both enter high school, they reunite, with Koito following him into the same school.
