The second entry in the Sekai Series takes place in the second semester at Kazusaen Middle School, where the clock tower remains unrepaired. In the music room, the relationship between Byouinzaka Meiro and Kushinaka Choushi begins. The school's three oddball students—Kushinaka Kogushi, Douno Kurori, and Gakemura Rouya—sustain a fragile equilibrium. A murder disrupts this state, prompting Meiro and Choushi to investigate the crime. As they seek the perpetrator, the already unstable dynamics among the students are further broken.
