+C: Sword and Cornett

Belca Noctircus is a prince from the Noctircus royal family, born to a commoner and the king, and is third in line for the throne. After returning from abroad, his older brother and crown prince, Hector, expresses a desire for peace with the Amonel, a feared race, but soon dies of an illness. Belca and his other older brother, Orcelito, uncover a conspiracy behind Hector's death, which leads to Belca being targeted and nearly killed. He is rescued by a traveling bard and scholar named Eco. Meanwhile, Orcelito is captured by Lagen, and Lagen's son imprisons him, using him to carry out his own agenda.
