Cecil no Joou
セシルの女王
In 1533 England, a period marked by shifting power and moral ambiguity, a young boy envisions a future beyond his current circumstances. William Cecil, 12 years old and the son of a royal costume official, visits the court for the first time with his father, seeking a position in the royal household. Initially disillusioned by the stark contrast between his ideals and the court's reality, he becomes deeply impressed after encountering Queen Anne Boleyn. Inspired by her, he resolves to support her and the unborn child she carries, who would later become king. The narrative draws from actual historical events.
