A young genius in the 15th century learns from his mentor that the Earth orbits the sun, a belief considered heretical and punishable by death. When the Inquisition arrives to enforce religious authority, he is forced to escape. Carrying a mysterious pendant, he seeks to uncover his mentor’s research and join others who share his convictions.
