A young girl named Saiko is given a device by an alien who admires her bravery after she helps someone in a conflict. The device lets her transform into "Lady Tail," a futuristic superhero with a ponytail. Saiko had recently cut her hair following a breakup with a boyfriend who criticized her for fighting. The return of her ponytail during transformation causes her to resist the device at first. In time, she accepts it and uses her powers to defend others.
