A Jurchen girl named Dan-i was rescued by General Gyeol Seo during a bandit attack and is now required to serve tea in his home in Hanyang. To stay safe, she must conceal her true background and pretend to be from Joseon, as the general is rumored to kill Jurchen people of all ages and genders. Gyeol Seo, meanwhile, refuses to drink clear water due to a traumatic event from his childhood and faces numerous enemies seeking his death. The two must navigate these dangerous circumstances and determine if they can survive together.
