CHA CHA On The Bridge·다리 위 차차
To address rising suicide rates, the government deploys AI robots as part of a prevention initiative. One such robot, CHA-88K, is stationed at Mapo Bridge, the country's highest suicide location. Initially drawing public interest, the robot is later deemed ineffective as the program loses funding. Despite this, the robot remains at the bridge. Her unique ability to synchronize with other AI systems allows her to observe human lives closely, leading her to experience a form of depression and apathy. Ai, a nursing home executive, buys the neglected robot and revives her, persuading her to take on a new role. In a world where AI increasingly replaces human services and people grow emotionally distant, the robot and Ai raise questions about the nature of humanity.
