Daten no Inugami: SLASHDØG

Tobio Ikuse, a high school sophomore, was bedridden with a severe fever and missed a school trip aboard a luxury ship. When he later learns that the teachers and second-year students from the trip have vanished, he is deeply affected. Months later, Tobio, still recovering from the emotional impact, unexpectedly runs into one of his missing classmates. Pursuing his friend Sasaki, he finds him fighting alongside a Lizard Monster. During the attack, Tobio is saved by Natsume Minagawa, another survivor, who gives him an egg before leaving. Later, Tobio is attacked by two individuals with monsters, but a puppy emerging from his shadow helps defend him. After the confrontation, Natsume returns and decides to take Tobio to a safe location.
