Eijun Sawamura dreamed of competing in the middle-school baseball nationals, but his team is eliminated due to a pitch he throws that goes awry. Determined to continue with his teammates, he is unexpectedly recruited by the prestigious Seido High School baseball team. During a visit to the school, he faces a challenging initiation. Working with promising catcher Miyuki reignites his enthusiasm for the sport.
