Digimon Next

A boy named Tsurugi Tatsuno participates in Virtual Digimon Battle competitions. After a Kuwagamon appears in the Real World, his Digimon, Greymon, becomes active and defends him. He is then called to the Digital World by Piximon to help stop the villain Barbamon. Greymon has a hexagon symbol, marking it as an Illegal Digimon, which is significant in saving the Digital World. Greymon later reverts to Agumon, and Tsurugi joins others who are also tasked with stopping Barbamon. Their mission is to prevent Barbamon and his forces from collecting all the DigiMemories and conquering both the Digital and Real Worlds.
