Apr 2, 2006Fourteen-year-old Masaru Daimon, who wants to be the best fighter, fights a dinosaur-like creature to a draw. Agumon vows to follow Masaru, but they are confronted by Yoshino Fujieda of DATS. After hiding Agumon in Tokyo Tower, Masaru is taken to Commander Satsuma, who warns that Agumon is dangerous. Masaru accepts responsibility. An alarm reports a burger joint attack, initially blamed on Agumon but caused by Kokatorimon. Kokatorimon knocks out Agumon, prompting Masaru to punch the bird. Astonished by his power, Masaru meets a fisherman who gives him a Digivice to channel DNA. This allows Agumon to Digivolve into GeoGreymon, defeating Kokatorimon and reverting it to a DigiEgg. Commander Satsuma is impressed by the outcome.
2EP 2Burning Anger Digisoul: The Dark Flymon Lurking in Shadows
Apr 9, 2006Masaru and Agumon escape DATS HQ after Masaru refuses to let Agumon be teleported back to the Digital World. They hide at home, where Masaru’s mother Sayuri Daimon and sister Chika Daimon befriend the Digimon, much to his annoyance. Yoshino warns that she will monitor them unless Masaru joins DATS. The next day, Masaru discovers Kunemon attacking animals at Chika’s school by feeding on classmate Takashi’s negative emotions. Agumon serves as bait while Yoshino’s Lalamon digivolves to Sunflowmon to fight. Kunemon evolves into Flymon, paralyzing Sunflowmon and Yoshino with poison powder. Unable to digivolve Agumon, Masaru accesses his DNA by punching Flymon, enabling GeoGreymon to defeat the enemy. A mysterious old man explains the Digital World to Masaru, who is then welcomed into DATS by Commander Satsuma.

A blond youth named Touma Norstein arrives, erasing witnesses' memories and capturing the creature. They soon discover more DemiMeramon spawned from flame sparks are attacking the city. Commander Satsuma orders Touma and his partner Gaomon, who digivolves into Gaogamon, to engage the enemies. While Touma fights, Masaru suffers self-doubt and flees. Inspired by an old fisherman fanning flames, Masaru realizes he can strengthen Agumon’s fire. He confronts the remaining DemiMeramon, allowing Agumon to digivolve into Meramon. Masaru punches the new form, and GeoGreymon finishes the threat. Despite their victory, both are dismayed to learn they must now work as partners.

Following a short conflict, Merukimon recognized Suguru’s integrity, leading to a mutual agreement for future cooperation between humans and Digimon. In contrast, Kurata developed intense hatred toward Digimon, labeling them all as evil because of the attack. Merukimon recalls these events and condemns Kurata as the individual responsible for the deaths of Yukidarumon and numerous other Digimon.
