Digimon Universe: Apuri Monsters

In a world where smartphones are ubiquitous, digital entities known as Appmon exist within apps, serving as intermediaries between humans and digital systems. These AI-based lifeforms gain autonomy and the ability to act. However, a powerful virus, Leviathan, begins infecting Appmon, using them to infiltrate and manipulate real-world systems. A boy named Haru Shinkai obtains an Appli Drive, a device that allows him to summon Gacchimon, a search-based Appmon. Questions remain about the origins and purpose of the Appli Drive, the nature of the space connecting the digital and real worlds, a technique called App Combine that fuses two Appmon, and the ultimate objective of Leviathan.
