DO YOU BELIEVE IN MEMORIES?

A boy swimming in the ocean one night witnesses a mermaid, graceful and eerie, moving through the water beneath the moonlight. The encounter leaves a deep impression on him, an image he cannot forget. As he grows older, others dismiss the memory as a childhood fantasy, a product of his imagination. He resists their explanations, unwilling to let go of the certainty that what he saw was real.
