A powerful Swordmaster serving the Empire, Raviruth Penhac, is plagued by nightly spirit possessions. He leads a mercenary group on the frontier when he discovers a talented boy named Sel. Raviruth, who has never been interested in women, begins to feel unexpected emotions toward Sel. Confused, he denies any attraction to men.
