Raviruth Penhac, a powerful swordmaster serving the Empire, is tormented by nightly spirit possessions. He leads a mercenary group on the frontier when he discovers a talented boy named Sel. Raviruth, who has never been interested in women, begins to feel unexpected emotions toward Sel. Confused, he denies any attraction to men. Unbeknownst to him, Sel has joined the group while concealing her true identity as a girl. As their interactions increase, Sel begins to notice Raviruth more clearly.
