Etsusa Bridge

Located between Sadogashima and Niigata, a massive bridge nearing completion was left abandoned by the government. The structure, along with a large artificial floating island at its center, has since developed into a lawless settlement inhabited by criminals and those who have fallen by society’s ways. The events take place in the same fictional universe as Durarara, though 15 to 20 years have passed since those stories. There is minimal connection between this setting and the earlier novels.
