Tsubasa Shiina, a fourth grader, recently relocated to Hokkaido with her father, struggling to make friends at her new school. Her father, preoccupied with his new job, is often absent, including on Parents' Day. One evening, Tsubasa witnesses an unusual object descending from the sky, landing in the nearby woods. It is revealed to be a damaged spaceship containing an injured alien. A creature then attacks her, prompting Tsubasa to transform into "Figure," a mysterious form that allows her to overcome the threat. After the confrontation, she encounters a girl identical to her named Hikaru.
