A portion of the world is inhabited by the dead, and it is under attack by phantoms. Nagi discovers a mechanical teenage maid with silver hair in a mountain area filled with scrap wood and brings her home to fix her. The girl, named Elise, greets him with "Good morning, Nagi." Her origins remain unclear. Nagi and Elise must confront a situation where the future of the world depends on them.
