Baba Sho, a high school student, faces more adult responsibilities than his peers. After his classmate and girlfriend, Sumire, gives birth to his child, his passion for baseball becomes a potential path to financial stability. Without a professional contract, Sho struggles to envision a future for his family. Sumire has left school, claiming illness, and keeps their child hidden from friends and her unsupportive father.
